Our professional trained home care workers have been thoroughly back ground checked, they are licensed and bonded. At this time our focus after losing our mom is to have our dad with us at our house as much as possible. We are actively looking to purchase a bigger house for us all to be together. I think it's safe for us to suspend our services for dad at this time. I will re engage when we are more settled.I want to thank you and your team we felt so very taken care of by all of you.
The caregivers from A Step Above Caregiving, LLC pretty much do what we ask them to do. We have caregivers over during the night and they give her showers, wash her hair, and make sure she doesn’t fall. They also check her blood sugar and give her snacks according to what her blood sugar is. They do light houskeeping, like they pick up any soiled diapers and do laundry. She’s really good to communicate with and really helpful.

I interviewed several agencies and At Home Caregivers were the best ones. We have three different caregivers during the week. We got a couple that we did not like and we’ve asked to replaced them and they have. So we’re happy with the ones that we have now.

Held her hand for a while talking about “Pepper” the cat. However a few minutes after squeezing my hand and giving her the meds, she closed her mouth and was gone. I am not even sure where to begin in praising Home Instead and their staff. Home Instead is Professional, organized and caring. I only have care one day a week but Tiffany is always here that one day. I do not have to direct her or ask her what I need done she is just on top of everything. I’d like if they had caregivers with more experience. Home Helpers of Santa Rosa is an in-home care provider serving all Sonoma County. Although I don’t need a lot of care, it is nice having the help to get garbage cans out and do my laundry or things like that. They are very punctual with the services so I would recommend them for that. Our caregiver is wonderful and goes above and beyond to make sure that my mother in law is well cared for. Having a reliable caregiver has been a godsend.
